Registration Details

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

How to register?

All registration is via the website. You will need to:

1. Register with the website. Click here.
   Note: If you have difficultly registering someone else may have your username (in which case try another one) or you may already be registered in the system (in which case go to the login form and enter your email address in the field indicated).
2. Login to the website. Click here.
   
3. Once you are logged in, click the red register link and complete the form.
   Note: If you cannot find the red register link make sure you are on the Welcome Page.
4. You can pay by cheque or direct debit.
   To pay by credit card, choose the direct debit option and call the conference organiser on 02 6162 0345 to arrange a payment. The ASFB apologises for this inconvenience.

Registration Entitlements

The full registration fee entitles delegates to the following:

• Attendance at all sessions from Tuesday to Saturday inclusive
• Morning and afternoon teas
• Ice-breaker on Monday evening
• Ice-breaker on Thursday evening
• Lunch everyday except Thursday
• Workshop Dinner on Wednesday night
• Conference Dinner on Saturday night
• Delegate Satchel
• Conference Proceedings

The workshop registration fee entitles delegates to the following:

• Attendance at all Workshop sessions
• Morning and afternoon teas and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday
• Ice-breaker on Monday evening
• Workshop Dinner on Wednesday night
• Delegate Satchel
• Conference proceedings

The conference registration fee entitles delegates to the following:

• Attendance at all Conference sessions
• Morning and afternoon teas and lunch on Friday and Saturday
• Ice-breaker on Thursday evening
• Conference Dinner on Saturday night
• Delegate Satchel
• Conference proceedings
  

The day registration fee entitles delegates to the following:

• Attendance at all Conference sessions on the day
• Morning and afternoon tea and lunch
• Delegate Satchel
• Conference proceedings

Attendance at social functions which may occur on the evening of your day ticket are NOT included in Day registrations.

Acknowledgment of Registration

All registrations will be acknowledged by an email with confirmation of registration details according to the submitted registration forms. The registration form acts as a Tax Invoice.

Insurance

Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that all delegates take out their own travel insurance and medical insurance prior to the conference. The policy should include loss of fees through cancellation of your participation in the conference itself, loss of airfares for any reason, medical expenses and repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. The conference secretariat and ASFB will not take responsibility for any delegate failing to insure.

Privacy

The Privacy Act 2001 provides that, before your name and organisational details can be published in the list of conference delegates for distribution, you must give your consent. You may elect to exclude your name from the published Delegate List.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations received in writing by 17 August 2007 will be accepted and fee refunded less a $100 administration fee. Refunds will not be given after this date, however transfer of registration will be accepted, prior to 5 September 2007. All cancellations and substitutions must be notified in writing to the Conference Secretariat.

The ASFB 2007 Registration and Information Desk will be located at each venue and will operate during the hours listed below:

Tuesday 11 September 0730 – 1730
Wednesday 12 September 0730 – 1700

Manning Clarke Theatres
Thursday 13 September 1530 - 1800 (this is the rest day)
Friday 14 September 0730 – 1700
Saturday 15 September 0730 – 1700

All delegates, accompanying persons, speakers and exhibitors will receive a name badge on registration. This badge is your official pass and must be worn to obtain entry to all Conference sessions, meals and social events.

All registration materials, including name badges, Conference Dinner tickets and Conference satchel should be collected from the Registration Desk on the first day of your arrival.
