Student Awards

The ASFB offers a number of awards and bursaries to students wishing to attend the conference. Applications must be made online before early-bird registration.

John Glover Travel Fund Bursaries

  • Multiple bursaries available
  • Funds 50% of travel costs to annual meeting up to a maximum of $600

John Lake Poster Award

  • Junior (eg Hons) and Senior  (eg Phd) awards presented.
  • $600 for each award

Gilbert P. Whitley Memorial Student Talk Award

  • Junior (eg Hons) and Senior  (eg Phd) awards presented.
  • $600 for each award
