Upcoming ASFB 2012 Conference

The annual conference of the Australian Society for Fish Biology in 2012 will be a joint meeting with the Oceania Chondrichthyan Society.
This will be held from 15th to 18th July, 2012. The venue for the symposium is The Sebel Playford Hotel, which is located on North Terrace in the CBD of Adelaide.
The symposium topic is: ‘Addressing the challenges of understanding the movement patterns of aquatic animals and their significance’, and will include such themes as:
•    the dispersal of eggs and larvae
•    tagging methods for studying juvenile and adult movement
•    the influence of movement on stock structure
•    accommodating movement in natural resource management protocols.
