    The duties of the Investigation are to quantify fundamental demographic characteristics of marine fish and invertebrates for use in stock assessment research, in models designed to guide management decisions, and related research. Age data is provided for 17 species of marine fish and shellfish species inhabiting the northwest Atlantic.
